Once the Launcher creates this copy, then your icon will turn Green, indicating that it found 7DaysToDie.exe. I am looking at a new design that would be cross platform, and would be putting more of a focus on the modlet system for that version, and by extension, "My Mods". This means the Launcher will either Download From Steam (useful for getting clean installs, older alphas, etc), or copy from Local, which would just make a copy of your existing Steam install. Performance can be spotty, it's not cross-platform, etc. Prefabs are balanced to the pack and to work together in a vanilla setting. The poi pack/poi archive/mod was first compiled by Magoli in the early Alphas of the game and has continued to grow over the years. ![]() He recently had to reformat his computer, and has since installed the new version of the launcher. My Mods was originally developed to add your own overhaul, etc. Thank you both for your dedication to this game and the community. I get that this may not be worth your time with Steam Workshop on the horizon, but I sincerely hope that this tool will persist beyond that and continue to grow. ![]() This could make it more accessible to casual modders and other non-weirdos. I would love to see it become a more prominent feature, perhaps with a dumbed-down instruction set. The API is written as a wrapper that can be included in your project as a source file, which allows for. Mod Settings API to allow users to customize settings without needing to restart their game (and the UI is handled all by the Mod Manager). I really love the My Mods function, but from conversations with other players I can report that it sometimes goes unnoticed or misunderstood. Mod Manifest API that allows your users to check for new mod versions within the in-game Mods menu. I have never had any wonkiness with the Launcher.
